Stray Gods and the Lighthouses

Something I noticed in Stray Gods is how the entire “lost at sea” and “lighthouse” imagery was basically everywhere. We have Grace with her “Adrift” song. Then we have Apollo’s song with the lighthouse. And then, during the Trial, we again bringt up that imagery.

But… There is one more lighthouse in the game. The Reliquary. It, too, is a lighthouse. Just an Ancient Lighthouse. But a lighthouse no less.

And I am sitting here right now like: “There is some symbolism in that. But… I am not quite getting it.”

In general, of course, there is kinda the thing that all of the characters are lost. (Well, okay, all, but Pan who seems to know exactly where he is at with everyone and everything lol). And the plot revolves very much about them finding their way together and what not. Grace is a lighthouse to the others, no doubt about it.

But… Who is her lighthouse?

And why is the Reliquary a lighthouse?!
